Incorporated in 1999, Red Tusk is the partnership of Karen and Edward Daniel. Our talented team includes some of the best programmers and brand development specialists in the Atlanta area, professionals who provide well-rounded and specialized expertise to ensure our delivery of truely comprehensive turn-key design services.
Principals
Karen Daniel
Mastering the highly varied genres within commercial graphic design Karen has an equal appreciation for both print and electronic mediums and is often hired by clients to develop one after successfully completing the other.
She enjoys continually learning and applying detailed technical information to both the print and Web development process along the path toward ever more efficient and effective collaborations with clients.
Outside of the office, Karen is a hot yoga enthusiast, occasional gourmand, gardener and quilter. Although she was raised in Colorado, she has acclimated nicely to both southern culture and climate since moving to Georgia in 1998. She loves the outdoors and traverses the wilds of the North Georgia mountains and the streets of Decatur and Atlanta anytime she can.
Edward Daniel
Something of a futurist, Edward's goal is to ensure that Red Tusk remains on the cutting edge of creative services, notably Web design and development. Helping to define the future depends in part on making it to the future, so he works to maximize the efficiencies of the studio’s business model. His daily duties include sales, account management, copy writing, professional business portraiture and environmental photography.
One of those people who seems to know a little about everything, Edward's eclectic background includes a degree in physical anthropology, a former career as an elephant keeper, and a year in high school in Kenya. A physical guy he loves spin classes and yoga then cools down with jazz records.
